Lauren has a background in film distribution, acquisitions and script development with a focus on romantic comedies.

Lauren wrote and produced a short film called The Anthesis of Man. The comedy/horror is an ode to Frankenstein with a comedic twist and won the Best Dark Comedy Award at the Austin Comedy Short Film Festival.

Her debut novel, Liv is Not a Loser, is a best-friends-to-lovers romantic comedy about a woman who realises she’s a loser and puts together a ten-step plan to change her life.

Her latest novel, One Last Night, is a contained enemies-to-lovers, fake dating rom-com where a once-in-a-lifetime storm traps the staff overnight at a local seafood restaurant.
